I Maxed Out All My Combat Skills In Under 1 Hour (Eq2 heritage)
July 8th, 2008Ok..This is definately a bug.. Not sure how repeatable this is.. It may just be just my lucky break..
Im in Oakmyst forest and right near the door to Graystone yard where the dryads spawn there is an Oakmyst fawn right smack dab up against a tree.
It is gray to me (no xp or reward), but being the brutal killer I am.. I whip out my bow and prepare to lay waste. I nail it for 23 dam and its health doesnt drop at all! and he doesnt fight back! His health bar stays completely green!! I’m like WTF!!! Then I begin to drool…
Luckily I have about 400 arrows on me, so I proceed to blast away… in about 15-20 minutes or so I go from Ranged skill 27 to 53.
Now Im a Rogue and I am the piercing type of guy.. but I figure what the heck, I may as well work on my slashing as well. But DOH! I dont have any slashing weapon on me.
Taking a risk, I zone out to Greystone, buy the first axe I see and head back to Oakmyst with my fingers crossed. I zone into the same instance and round the corner..
..and there he is.. the cute little defensless Oakmyst Fawn.. my beautiful skill point sink, just where I left him.
Buwhahahahahaha
So I proceed to bash his skull in with my new axe.. 20 minutes later I max my slashing skill too…
I wish the little bastard fought back though so i could max all my defense stats…
Wierd or what?
Probably just luck but I thought I would share the experience…
