Manipulate the recasting timer (Eq2 heritage quest)
July 21st, 2008The perk: This is a great little trick to speed up your casting. As I m sure you know, while (and for a short time after) casting a spell, your spell gems will turn grey to prevent you from chain casting. The trick is to hit an insta-click item right after you finish casting a spell. This will immediately un-grey your spell gems allowing you to cast a few seconds earlier. Over the course of a long fight, the time saved will really add up! That equals more damage to the mob, or more heals to the tank whatever your case may be! A significant advantage! This trick doesn t work with any spell that has a natural re-cast time (for example: Divine Aura). Examples of insta-click items are: Journeymen Boots and the Fishbone Earring
