Race Kerra (Eq2 station)
January 19th, 2009The Kerra in EQ2 are Feline humanoids, quick with their claws and ready to pounce or strike from a distance with powerful magic on any unsuspecting individuals carrying rations of cheese or milk……..or any mob who crosses their path. Immediately after dropping a foe, they proceed to sit on their haunches and purr contently.
I’m sure everyone at some point in their lives has had a housepet that has gone bad. For me, it was a stray cat I adopted when I was a teenager named Gomez. At first he seemed to be a cool cat, very cute…….just needed some time to adjust to his home and all would be well. To make a long story short, he turned out to be completely insane and possibly the most evil feline ever to roam the Western Hemisphere. Gomez was quickly dispatched to a worker at my home, who accepted the feline for her son (poor kid).
The above paragraph, in a nutshell, explains why the Kerra in EQ2 can be of an evil or good alignment, they can either Purr Happily in Qeynos with the goodly folk, or hiss incessantly with the evil inhabitants of Qeynos. Basically, it all depends if you want to be a Gomez or not!
Kerrans have a decent intellect, and above average wisdom, which makes them excellent at wielding the magical arts. In addition to their intellect and wisdom, they possess decent strength and excellent agility, making them great for the Scouting profession. Either way, you can’t go wrong.
Kerrans have keen vision, much like a cat chasing a mouse……..they have an otherworldly vision them to see movement in ways no other race can even begin to imagine.
