Not sure if this is posted elsewhere or if it was nerfed with latest patch but I found it useful on more than one occasion. In the event you are say searching to see if a named MOB is up and have a good idea of general area that they spawn but lack track try "/ponder *MOB’s name here*. Make sure nothing is targeted when you do this. If the MOB is up and is somewhat around it will result in emote saying you are pondering the monster. If it isn’t up it will just result in saying you ponder. You still have to figure out if monster is up where it is but at least reduces time searching wondering if its up.
