Archetype: Scout

General walkthrough for the Scout archetype.

Scouts are the handy man in eq2. They have so many abilities and combat arts that scouts will almost be a dime a dozen. This isn't really a bad thing because they are awesome to play. You'll get to control your groups HO wheel, sneak around surveying the land ahead. Scouts just plain rock, nuff said end of tutorial… j/k.

Starts HO for Scout

Scouts are by far the most versatile archetype to play. You also get many traits like disarming chests that no other archetype can do. No group is really complete without a scout and no group could really survive well without one.

Scout use Lucky Break to start their heroic opportunities (HO). They put in new way to start HOs so new players would catch on. Once your use Lucky Break use the next flashing attack in your hot bar until you complete the HO.

In groups the Scout HO wheel symbols are as follows:

Dagger
Bow
Mask
Lock
Cloak
Coin

Scouts color is Green in the HO wheel.

This should make most appreciate their local scout. Be sure to thank the level 3 scout for disarming the chest for you even though you are level 50. Courtesy goes along way…
