Selling Loots To NPCs—Shop Around!
July 3rd, 2007Not many people realize the huge gaps in between prices different NPCs will offer you. I came across a blatant example this evening.
I had looted a medium level sword from a mob in the Commonlands, and when back in town went to sell it to an NPC (seeing as though I am a Mage). The Arms Dealer in town offered me 1.2s, while the shield smith offered me 2.6s!
So you get the point, don't sell your goods to the first NPC you come across. Make your way to the market area and check with all the NPCs for the highest price. The price discrepencies are huge, so it's well worth your time.
