The "grade" of a spell acts as a modifier to your effective level, for casting purposes. There are four grades to each catagory (Apprentice, Adept, and Master) but not all of them are in the game yet. If you have the Apprentice I version in your Book, you can scribe any better versions you acquire. There are no level prerequisites for upgrades.

Apprentice I = level-1 (granted automatically, except for the "fun" spells with purely cosmetic effects)
Apprentice II = baseline (storebought)
Apprentice III = level+1 (crafted from common harvests)
Apprentice IV = level+2 (not yet in game. Quested?)
Adept I = level+3 (uncommon drop)
Adept II = level+4 (not yet in game. Harder quest?)
Adept III = level+5 (crafted from rare harvests, recipes are in uncommon dropped books)
Adept IV = level+6 (not yet in game. Long, difficult quest?)
Master I = level+7 (rare drop or character advancement choice)
Master II = level+8 (not yet in game. Very hard and insanely long quest?)
Master III = level+9 (crafted from very rare drops, recipes are in rare dropped books)
Master IV = level+10 (ultra-rare drop or awarded by GM. Artifact rarity of around one per server. Not hard-limited to just one in existence, but don’t expect to ever own one of these)

So, using a Master I version, you cast that spell as if you were seven levels higher than you really are. The devs balanced the game around the assumption that everyone would have App.3 spells. If you’re using better, that’s just gravy. Do not expect to upgrade ALL of your spells to Adepts or Masters. If you get even half of them beyond Apprentice grade, you’re doing very well.

As you know view range is limited when under water, with this trick you can see under water as far as usual.

This only works in places where waves are high enough (e.g. near beach or rock around water) you should position your camera inside water (better works in third person view when you click left mouse button and move camera with mouse) and move it up slowly untill view range limit gone. Then hold like this for few seconds while waves go higher than your camera and u will see whats under water.

Point is to place your camera between waves (top of water) and unseen box that activates underwater view.

Dont think this ever get fixed because they have to rebuild game engine to fix this one.

Return to Foomby you need to kill the big fish, this would be the named fish in the pond not far, Chomper, -180, -500. He s on a 3-4 hour respawn so this is the only real camp you will have. Kill him then return to Foomby. Next you have to speak to Bellendis Tempestcall, she is in the Granary not too far from the docks. She has you kill 15 Lamias any will do. This is also timed. Once you kill the first one the 20 minute timer starts. After you kill number 15 you have to kill Baz Tarog you have 5 minute timer from after the last lamias. He can be found at -480, -900 and is a big tough named Nightblood. After you kill him return to Bellendis Tempestcall and she will give you 1g and change, as well as a jar of some form. Return to Foomby and give him the jar. Be sure your group all hails and clicks thru the conversation at the same pace, he will despawn just after one person finishes so do it quickly, Foomby has a respawn of around 10 minutes.

Reward: Bag of the Sewn Evil Eye
20 slots, 30% Weight Reduction

Why this is sooooo ez.. cause you can buy all the ingredients from your wholesaler.. NO HARVESTING! i do this everynight/day im AFk and im leveling up crazy fast.. im sure after like lvl 25 this recipe will be useless but for the time being its really simple! btw – this is my first strategy post here! i love the site by the way! TAULT . COM SUCKS! MPS ROCKS!
